You will be able to enjoy an incomparable and fascinating panoramic train journey, as you pass through the ancient cities of the Incas. Your 3 and a half hour journey begins from the city of Cusco (Poroy train station) to Aguas Calientes in style through the alpine meadows nestled between the green, brown and white peaks, intricately formed valleys, layers of hand-made Inca agricultural terraces and rugged mountains.
Then we will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to begin your connection with the natural world and the cultural spectacle at the citadel of Machu Picchu (2,400 m / 7907 ft), let yourself be carried away as you travel back in time to this magical, sacred and mysterious place, named after Machu-Picchu, “The Old Sacred Mountain”. Take your time to explore the majestic Machu Picchu, the Inca ruins rich in history of its past and the thriving culture of the people who once resided there.
We’ll begin this unforgettable experience by picking you up at your hotel at 6:30 a.m.
We’ll then transfer you by private transport to the train station in Poroy, where the Vistadome train will depart at 7:35 a.m.
